American School of Technology brings a new approach to studying the technical and technological disciplines. AST offers programs in information technology and industrial-technological management, students gain knowledge and skills that make them not only experts in these fields, but also the whole personalities and future leaders of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian economy.
In terms of professional training, the programs provide a solid base and intensive professional upgrading. AST offers items that are in line with the latest U.S. study programs and are based on significant technical and technological achievements of the American economy and Development and Research Institutes institutes. Books that AST use in teaching are the latest editions of prominent American publishers. Through a multimedia approach, customized for new generations of students, our curriculum introduces students to both, the traditional way and the latest techniques and technologies of disciplines which are offered. In addition to theoretical knowledge, our students gain practical experience by working in our labs and practice in Bosnia-Hercegovina and U.S. companies.

Career
Occupations in the field of technical-technological processes and disciplines are especially attractive because of the high possibilities of employment and a large number of jobs that require experts of such profiles. AST diploma offers an exciting and meaningful career to graduated students in different industries and business, including opening their own firms.
Study of information technology prepares students for technical and managerial jobs, primarily in software engineering and design and exploitation of computer networks. Organizations of all profiles need experts in these areas: production companies, trading companies, state institutions, representatives of foreign companies, educational institutions, media, etc.. Some of the specific titles include: systems analysts, project managers, administrators of computer networks, web application developers, etc..
Study of industrial-technological management prepares students for technical and managerial jobs in the area of production and exploitation of natural resources. Job opportunities are open in the exploitation of mineral and forest resources, processing and manufacturing, government institutions, insurance companies and micro-credit organizations. Some of the specific titles include: CAD Operator, robotics technician, CNC programmer, security manager, security analyst and systems engineer for quality control.
Industrial Technology Management
Contemporary stage in the development of world economy is characterized by the processes of transition from industrial society to innovation, with the promotion of the knowledge economy and information as an important business resource. In these processes, the key role has industrial-technological management, effective management and application of scientific achievements in business practice, where the success of businesses, organizations, institutions and social services, is proportional to the degree of using the knowledge in the field of industrial-technological management as a strategic weapon in the process of creating and realizing of highly competitive and successful innovative products and services. Industrial and technological management enables students to design production and industrial systems. After graduation student develops knowledge and skills to maintain technical systems, industrial management and quality management. Graduates of this department are trained to perform the analysis and improvement of all segments of business, manufacturing and other systems.
