U.S. Congressman Russ Carnahan Honors and Supports American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Congressman Russ Carnahan, representative of Missouri's 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives gave a voice of support to the American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina (AUBiH), sending a letter, by which he expressed his commend for the AUBiH’s reputation and his deep respect of the AUBiH as an institution where communication takes place between U.S. and BiH scholars.
Congressman Carnahan wrote:
This type of academic discussion and collaboration is an integral part of not only your country’s development, but of further advancing the relationship between our two countries. Congressman Carnahan also mentioned that he looks forward to working with the AUBiH in advancing the U.S. and Bosnia and Herzegovina relationship through educational opportunities.
Congressman Russ Carnahan is a proven friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina and as a founder and co-chair of the Congressional Caucus on Bosnia he makes efforts for advising, supporting and steering political and economic advancement of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Honoring his support, encouragement and initiative to work together on tightening the U.S. and Bosnia and Herzegovina relationship, Mr. Denis Prcic, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Mr. Šefik Mulabegovic, President of AUBiH wrote him a thank you letter saying: We wish to thank you for your endeavor to encourage cooperation between your office and American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Without a doubt, your support will prove to be extremely valuable and we have found you as a true friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a friend of American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We hope that our relationship will grow in years to come and will lead to a number of educational and other initiatives for the benefit of our two countries.
