Admission and Finance
Candidates who have completed high school or have received an international bachelor's degree can enroll in AUBiH.
The candidates` general skills and knowledge are tested, as well as their motivation for the professional choice of occupation - manager of finances, banking, insurance and risk management, digital economy, information technology, and business administration.
An application form is available on the AUBIH web page, while the shorter version, together with information on all the necessary documents and deadlines, will be posted in the daily newspapers.
To apply, a candidate needs the following:
- A written or electronic application form,
- High school transcripts for each grade of high school,
- a high school or university diploma,
- the birth certificate,
- the health certificate,
Free language instruction during summer before the beginning of the first year of university will be provided for all the students whose command of English is below the necessary level prior to the enrollment. This will be free of charge for those students who have been accepted to study at AUBIH and have paid their tuition fees.
A completed application form must be received two months before the enrollment application deadline for all foreign students (living in Europe), while foreign students living outside of Europe must submit their application three months before the enrollment application deadline.
Student Loan
AUBiH has a partnership with NLB Tuzlanska Banka and
Hypo-Alpe-Adria Bank a.d., Banja Luka offers student loans (Student loan for AUBiH students).
Students may take a loan in the amount of up to € 5,500 each year, following a letter issued by AUBiH, confirming that the student
has successfully completed the previous academic year.
Loans are available for a period of 7 years, grace period being 5 years (delayed payment). Explanation:
During the grace period (the first 5 years), students pay 99 KM per month for each annual tuition fee they loaned.
Following the expiry of the grace period (5 years), students will have 7 years to repay the entire amount due.
Therefore, students may get a rather favorable loan for 12 years (5 +7 years).
Payment in installments
At the same time, there is a possibility of making the payment for the annual tuition fee in installments at AUBiH, with a 20% advanced payment at admission, and the rest of the amount in 8 equal monthly installments.
Transfer to the AUBiH from other universities
Starting with the next academic year 2009/2010, students will be able to transfer to the AUBiH from other universities:
- College of International Finance and Banking
- College of Information Technology and Digital Economy
- Transcript from the previous university (list of passed exams with grades)
- Course description for the subjects that student passed and which is on the transcript
- Syllabus which student followed at previous university
Note: Index (student booklet with grades) from a university cannot be used as a replacement for the transcript.
